1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using BuildCoach ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying customers.

2. Description of Service

BuildCoach is an AI-powered DIY project planning tool. The Service uses artificial intelligence to help users plan home improvement and DIY projects by generating project plans, materials lists, step-by-step instructions, 2D diagrams, and budget tracking tools based on information provided by the user.

3. Credits and Payment

BuildCoach operates on a credit-based system. New users receive one free credit upon registration, which can be used to generate one complete project plan. Additional credits can be purchased through the Service. Credits do not expire and are non-transferable. Purchased credits are non-refundable except as described in our refund policy. If a generated project plan does not meet your needs, contact us within 7 days for a refund of the credit used.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Project plans, materials lists, instructions, and other content generated by BuildCoach are produced by artificial intelligence and are intended as guidance only. BuildCoach does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any AI-generated content. You should verify all measurements, materials, and construction methods independently before undertaking any project. Always consult a licensed professional for structural, electrical, plumbing, or other work that may require permits or professional expertise.

5. Limitation of Liability

BuildCoach and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, including damages from reliance on AI-generated project plans, materials lists, or instructions. Your use of the Service is at your sole risk.

6. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of BuildCoach complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including building codes and permit requirements in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide when describing your project. You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage or impair the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

The BuildCoach service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by BuildCoach. Project plans and content generated for your projects are provided to you for your personal use. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense AI-generated plans without prior written permission.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
