BuildCoach collects information you provide directly to us, such as your email address when you create an account, your project descriptions and conversations with our AI assistant, and payment information processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store full payment card details on our servers.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services, process transactions and send related information including purchase confirmations, send technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages, respond to your comments and questions, and analyze usage patterns to improve BuildCoach.
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website and providing our services, subject to confidentiality agreements. These providers include Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), and Lemon Squeezy (payment processing).
4. Data Retention
We retain your account information and project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Project plans and conversations are retained to allow you to reference them later and use the troubleshooter feature.
5. Security
We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS. Authentication is handled via Supabase Auth with support for OAuth providers and magic link email authentication.
6. Cookies and Analytics
BuildCoach uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We use session cookies required for authentication. No third-party advertising cookies are used.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information. You may also opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@buildcoach.app.
8. Changes to This Policy
